Voter Registration Drives
« on: March 25, 2018, 06:30:02 PM »
I got 100 applications from the Office of Elections located in Pearl City.  Just go down and pick them up whenever they're open or print them from the website.  We need to get more voters registered who will support gun rights.  I got a few registered at the gun show.  I'm going to get more done at Koko Head, at work, and other places.

Make sure the registrant fills it out in front of you then ask if the want to mail it themselves or if they want you to drop it off for them.  If you give them the forms to fill out at home, you'll get <5% completion rate.

So what happens if we pass them out at the range?

Perfectly fine.  Though I'd have them fill it out rather than just giving them the form.

No I mean will the ROs care? I'm guessing not since they let the volunteers take over the mic the other week to get people to sign the petition. I was wondering if there was some strange Park rule against it.

Falls under freedom of speech.  As long as we're not asking for money or creating a safety hazard.
