Great day at the range. Shot with the black powder guys and then hung out with the LIFE/HRA folks qualifying. Weather was spotty, but overall a great day enjoying shooting and sharing with like minded folks.

Thanks for hangin’ out wit us old guys! That AK you have is the first AK I really enjoyed shooting. It was definately a black gun day.

Was an impressive display of black powder. The guy to me left had a really nice rifle. He said that was his “medium grade” rifle. The wood grain looked beautiful to me!

The stock of his rifle looked like tiger maple. 

Honestly, I have never been impressed with most AK’s but now I am rethinking how I feel.

I’ll be at KHSC on Sunday morning dunno how much shooting I’ll do though. I will be helping the HHAA/BPS with Gettysburg shoot. Let me go post something about it in the events section and on FB.
