"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

Thanks, filling out my absentee ballot now.

FYI, Ray Lheureux supports CCW.  Page says NR.

My friend who is a Marine and Ray was his CO, spoke very highly of him and informed me of the CCW.  My friend is from Texas so the 2a is super important to him.

It's NR for No Response.  Steve Lipscomb is also pro-gun but failed to respond to our questionnaire.

I worked with Sam this legislative session.  He is really a great guy and does it for the love of the community.

Here's a link to look up your district based on street.  It's in the top right corner.

https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/

Saiki and Galuteria are my districts, which I've known for a long time they are terrible.  Don't respond to emails either. . .

Have to look up more info on:
- Beth Fukumoto (US Rep District I)
- Bernard Carvalho (Lt. Gov)

Any insight on those would be appreciated.

I never talked to or read Fukumoto's stance on anything, but I do know she has posted twice within the last year or so about racism related topics.

1 was a letter she was mailed.  And on that envelope that she showed a picture of, the stamp wasn't stamped.  And there were some other inconsistency that make you wonder if she wrote it herself.  The letter was telling her "Japs get out".

The 2nd was something about Ed Case being white.

So far she is the only person that I can remember trying to play the race card.

I see Ige as the lessor of 2 evils.  Hanabusa's commercials seem to try to get the sympathy vote.  Vote for me because I'm a woman.  Vote for me because my mom is well know in Waianae, vote for me if you hate Trump, etc...

Where as Ige's commercials are more about what it takes to be a good leader.  And I've never heard Ige bash my president as much compared to Hanabusa.

I think I got a mailer from Fukumoto.  Threw it out without reading it.  Then I get a random text to support Kaniela Ing.  I was gonna fire something back about if the text me again, I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure no one votes for him, but decided not to.

Like the smear campaign stuff back in the Cec Heftel days.

I don't know who cec is so I had to google him.

So a no-nonsense type of guy gets a smear campaign done against him.  He believed a "higher power (not god)" was the cause.  Sounds so familiar.

I swore I heard him say dentists aren’t real doctors
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.
