Aiken, SC (WJBF) - Politics meets murder mystery Georgia-lina. A former Georgia Congressional candidate
is now charged with the murder of her campaign treasurer.

Thomson woman, Kellie Collins, turned herself into the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office the same day authorities
in Aiken County found Curtis Cain’s body in his apartment on Old Powderhouse Road. The local investigation is
gaining national attention with organizations like Fox News, The New York Post and the Daily Mail picking up the
story.

NewsChannel 6’s Ashley Osborne did some digging into Collins’ political past. Athens, GA news agency, Online
Athens, reported one of the positions highlighted on her website was “responsible” gun regulation. Collins said
we need to, “shield the community from the effects of firearms falling into the wrong hands.” One year later, she
is behind bars charged with the shooting death of her former campaign treasurer.

According to the Aiken County Sheriff’s office, the suspicion started Tuesday when Curtis Cain did not show up to
work at Swiss Krono in Barnwell. The Aiken County Coroner told NewsChannel 6 Cain had worked for the company
for 14 years.

When deputies got to Cain’s house on Old Powderhouse Road, they found him shot dead. The coroner says he
believes Cain died on Saturday, four days before he was found. Investigators also discovered Cain’s blue Subaru
Legacy was missing. Collins now faces a charge of Grand Larceny on top of the murder charge.

(Guns/rights/privacy/respect/dignity/understanding) for me, but not for thee.

Time to pass "common sense gun laws" to prohibit Democrat Politicians from possessing firearms.  Alternatively, restrict anyone running for office on a  gun control platform from owning guns.

Seems that would have helped disarm this sick/evil woman.

And this isn't in the main fake news channels?

They do their obligatory reports, but they don't don't spend any time on it in their "talking head" shows.  If it doesn't fit a Liberal narrative, it gets no attention beyond the regular news.
