That's a reasonable guess, since the FBI HRT/Professional model is in the $3,100+ range.

Will watch the full video later, but if I were to get a 1911 in 45, my
First choice would be Wilson Combat. Seeing as I don’t foresee being able to afford a $5-6k gun, my next choice would be a SA 1911. I was close to buying a model similar to the HRT a few years ago for around $1600. Should have bought it...

I know there are many 1911 diehards out there. That’s definitely not me. I would want one mostly for “because I can”.

The Pros are fairly available now, including the recently released 9mm models. I do wish SACS still took work, they did a great job on my CRG but there are a few things I would have had them do differently at this point.
