This is the reason we hate the press.  They could easily report the facts, but instead they print thousands of words about the "controversy" without investigating whether the claim of having to drink from toilets is a misrepresentation of the truth, or whether the claim is accurate.

AOC also claims there are broken toilets.  Maybe if Congress had appropriated funds for border patrol to fix them 5 months ago instead of shutting down the government. toilets would not be an issue now.

P.S.  Did illegals walking/driving across Central America and Mexico to enter the US have sanitary restroom facilities during their trip?  Whatever the conditions they have now, they have to be better than what they willingly endured to get here.

Technically, getting elected to office doesn't make a waitress/bartender more qualified to serve than they were before winning the race.  As Pelosi said, you can get a glass of water elected in AOC's district if you put a "D" next to it.  Maybe AOC *is* the glass of water "from 1 pipe?"

Nobody in Congress ever resigns over poor job performance.  That's left up to the voters to take care of when her term ends.

I'm hoping some of the PAC shenanigans she pulled lead to her downfall.  Seems like she purposefully funneled funds to a PAC she controlled to hide the money from FEC reporting requirements.

I say we shut down the detention centers and just drop everyone back off at the border.  And if they try to cross right after being released into the desert (turn back around and run across US soil), then taser or OC spray and push them back over to Mexico side. 

We need to start making it so people fear crossing illegally.  Right now if someone gets caught, they get a free place to sleep, a bed, and minor med check.  No incentive to stop trying to come over.  It's a numbers game.  As long as there are no stiff penalties, they will continue and eventually successfully make it over.  Like the guy who killed Kathryn Steile.  Deported 3x prior.

Was listening to someone from National Border Patrol Council (or something like that) on NPR this morning and I thought he did a good job of stating what CPB is up against and clarifying when the female host (I think Rachel Martin or Noel King) tried to slant something or take his statement out of context.  Seems like folks giving these interviews are better prepared for the slant.  I still think one can find ways to misquote and take things out of context, but good to hear these people being better prepared for the BS with MSM.

Question:  Where did the water in the toilet come from if there's no running water?

'Mini AOC' ends parody videos after receiving 'death threats,' 'harassment' from the left, family says

The 8-year-old child actor who went viral for impersonating Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, is no longer
going to make videos due to death threats and harassment she and her family have received.

Earlier this year, Ava Martinez, known as "Mini AOC," brought joy to her fans with several videos poking fun at
the socialist darling, collecting millions of views on social media.

However, the fun came to a screeching halt on Wednesday when Martinez's family announced that she would
no longer be impersonating Ocasio-Cortez and that all the videos created would be removed.

"The Left's Harassment and death threats have gone too far for our family. We have been getting calls on our
personal phone numbers," Martinez's stepfather Salvatore Schachter tweeted. "For our safety and for our child's
safety, we deleted all Mini AOC accounts."

Schachter told Fox News that the feedback from "Mini AOC" was overwhelmingly positive, but the negativity
"became too much" after she reenacted photographs the congresswoman had taken at the southern border last
year, adding that the comments were "increasingly personal, dark, and dangerous."

"She's disappointed at not doing Mini AOC going forward but we explained that this is for the best and she's
okay with it," Schachter said.

Ava's family had one message for those on the left who harassed her and her family.

"The world has seen Ava's beauty, talent, and charm, which was the whole reason for Mini AOC to begin with and
no amount of hate or anger will change that," Schachter told Fox News. "Also, like Ava says, 'try using your words.'"
