In high school, I had this very awoke teacher. It was a social studies class, but he taught us how to analyze things such as movies and TV to see what the true message is they're trying to tell people. He was very spiritual and many thought he was crazy, but I learned and is one of the few classes that I enjoyed. Below are examples:
1) A Bugs Life
A movie for children. 1 scene, there are 2 grasshoppers (husband and wife). The wife dies and the next scene shows the husband getting drunk. This is a children's movie. Why did the studio have to put that into the movie. It didn't support the story at all. It shows you, when a love one dies, go get drunk.
2) Titanic
Moral of the story is you can cheat on your significant other even if they're a dick (Billy Zane) and it's OK. Rose never broke up with him. So while she's cheating on Zane, the 2 (Rose and Jack) go running onto the deck of the ship after evading security. The guys who are supposed to be watching for icebergs, are now focused on the young couple in love on the deck. So had she not been cheating/sneaking around, the guys watching for icebergs would have been FOCUSED and avoided it.
3) Story of the God Father, Frank Sinatra is Johnny Fontane.
So I wish that I would run into him and ask him his thoughts about the fake news and stuff going on. He's black with a middle eastern name, but isn't a Muslim. I think he's Buddhist.
