I picked some up at Kona Reloads last year. Only 1 bottle there and I don't think anyone on the islands reorders powder stock that often. Great folks but I think the name of the shop is a little misleading for those looking for reloading stuff: they are more interested in selling you reloads then reloading supplies. They certainly have some supplies, though, and I could be wrong about that. I don't get over to that side of the island all that often.

C & S Outfitters in Waimea (aka Kamuela - http://www.yelp.com/biz/c-and-s-outfitters-kamuela ) also carries Alliant powders but again doesn't have tons of stock and reorders only a few times a year. If you live a distance away I'd call and check before driving up. D'armond would probably put a bottle aside for you if he has some in stock and you want it to still be there when you get there. If he doesn't have any you might ask him when his next order is going out and call him just before to let him know what you want.

If you are familiar with Waimea, C & S is behind the Brewhaus (used to be Tako Taco) right by the traffic light on the wet side of town. Hard to see from the road but easy to find if you know its behind the pub and park in the pub parking lot.

I ~think~ I saw some Alliant powders down at S. Tokunaga in Hilo when I was down there last but I they stock IMR and Hodgdon powders.  These guys have tons of primers, too.

J. Hara down in Kurtistown doesn't have Alliant powders and doesn't stock much of the Hodgdon they have - but have lots of primers.

And in return for the advice... please don't buy ALL the large pistol primers when you're out shopping.  I use 'em all the time.  :D
