In a breach of Constitutional separation of powers, Congressional Democrats are instructing the DOJ and FBI to ignore the White House (President Trump's) order to declassify the FISA applications as well as texts from several key FBI and DOJ players in the Russia Collusion matter.

The releases were to be in complete, UNREDACTED form, which could have been turned over in a matter of days.  Just make copies.


Pelosi, Schiff, Schumer and Warner signed the letter.

The DOJ and FBI are entirely under the Executive Branch. This would be like Trump giving orders to the Congressional Judiciary Committee to check with him before voting on Kavanaugh's nomination process.

These Democrats crossed the line.  They have no authority to send such a letter.

This is a constitutional crisis if the FBI/DOJ doesn’t follow the president’s orders. Trump would then have reason to fire a lot of people. Sessions should be one of the first to go.
