I got a BSA scope for sale. It's a 4x32. Came with a gun I purchased. Good condition. Asking $50

Same here, I have a Neos and a Taurus 22lr revolver.  Do I hear 22lr Range Day?

Oh,yeah!

Either would've been a fine choice. Congrats.

If you want optics, I would recommend a red dot. We had a short discussion about it here http://2ahawaii.com/index.php?topic=2757.0
Scopes are more for rifles and maybe shotguns. Personally, I have a red dot on my Neos and nothing added on my Sig 226.

I have a pistol scope on my Ruger Mark III "Hunter".

Here's what I got...

If you get a scope, make sure it's a pistol scope with a long "eye relief".
That way you can hold your arms out like you would normally shoot a pistol and be able to see clearly out of the scope.

I'll post pics of my scoped Ruger when I get a chance.

I've got a ProPoint Red/Green dot on my NEOS.  Excellent combination.  It is the only pistol I have with anything besides iron sights, and the only electronic sight I own.  But that's what happens when your buddies offer you extreme deals at gunshows!

My son is interested in getting a .22lr pistol. He was able to fire a few at the range this weekend. Browning (thx June) and a S&W M&P.22lr (thx Daniel). He liked the little kick the S&W gave. What do you guys think of that one?

Well broke down and got him the S&W M&P .22lr. He can't wait for the two weeks to be able to pick it up.

Bought it first then applied for long gun permit?

No bought it then turned in the paper work for the hand gun permit, since it is a semi auto pistol.

That's why you're not paid to think.
