The thing I like about Ruger is they honor their lifetime warranty. At least in my experience they have.

A friend of mine bought a couple of used Ruger semi auto handguns. At different times from SEC. Both exhibited problems from the beginning. He sent them back to Ruger and they fixed them at no cost. Clearly he was not the original owner. So you should have a lifetime of use out of the pistol.

Let us know what you think after you fire it.

I have one in 45acp
works great.  I haven't really tested it in a SD type practice, but at kokohead it does fine, no hangups.
