Do you own firearms with sentimental value? If yes, what are the reasons?
I know many consider the first firearm they purchased with a certain level of sentimental value. I still own the first firearm I bought. I rarely shoot it now. In fact, probably the gun I shoot the least, almost to the point where I hate shooting it. I COULD see myself selling it, but it's the only .40 S&W that I have, so I have kept it mostly for teaching purposes.
How about firearms that were handed down? By family or otherwise. I inherited a bunch of firearms after my dad passed away. Some nice guns in that collection, like a Colt Python and a Ruger .44 Mag Redhawk, both of which I know my dad valued highly and I would surely enjoy shooting and treasure owning. But there's also a High Standard .22 lr pistol. It seems like those can be quite valuable, but think the one that my dad had was shot quite a bit. Not something that I think I would shoot that often, but I don't see myself selling. I thought about offering to cousins or their kids, but I think most of them don't shoot or would value a gun like that.
