I recently bought this G19 clone.  It has a good weight and feel, dimensional same as the real Glock 19.  I have been using it for drawing and firing practice from distances 3 to 10 yards.  I can now practice in my patio or even indoors.  A flat screen tv box is excellent size to put your target on, as long as you make sure you stuff it with adequate backstop material.  I get about 50 shots per CO2 powerlet.  I get a box of 40 for $20 at Walmart and BBs are really cheap.  So I figure it is about a little over a penny per shot.  Fits perfect in my G19 holster too.  Photo shows the Umarex above my G19 which has a Crimson Trace green laser on it.

So how is the  accuracy with BBs?  Most BB guns I have seen are more of a shotgun than pinpoint.  Does not detract from the handling practice, but would be nice to get feedback from trigger control, etc.  Trigger similar to the real thing?

Trigger not as crisp as the real deal and feels a little mushy.  Accuracy at 30 ft. and under is pretty good.  What I am mainly focusing on is drawing and firing as quick as I can and hitting a 7x10 piece of cardboard.  If I make a hit anywhere on it I consider it a bullseye in a sd situation.  I have been practicing using biometric stops, which I saw on a USCCA video. Drawing your weapon straight up till your shoulder rotation comes to a natural stop, point your gun forward and you can fire from that position if you have to.  Otherwise push forward as your,support hand also holds and gun and fire.  This point and shoot technique is pretty accurate at 30 ft and under.  Over 95% of my shots have hit the cardboard.  100% at 15 ft or less.  Umarex and other companies make BB clones for a wide range of different popular handguns.  Good way to get some cheap “live fire”practice, especially for guys who live in the city or want to practice a home invasion scenario at night in their home or apartment.  Even though I can just go out in my backyard and shoot real ammo, this is saving me a lot of $$.  I like it because I can shoot,in my patio when it is raining and my wife likes it because it is not loud.  Even when I go 250 ft from the house and shoot real ammo, she would tell me it is so loud.

Ought to be interesting if you have nosy neighbors that do not like guns.  The look would get them all lathered up?

The BBs all over the place would tee off the wife when doing gardening.

Would it be a good idea to paint the slide orange?  This way to to get it confused with your real Glock.  If SHTF, Murphy always strikes and for what ever reason, the BB will be the first thing you grab.

As you can see from the picture in the first post, the real deal has a laser sight on it and I always keep it in a Remora IWB “sticky” holster in the house.  The BB gun I put in a cardboard box with the BBs and CO2 powerlets when I am done shooting.  No possible way to get them mixed up.
