Thanks for the great range day.  Things I learned:

1) Doing a class without a plate carrier kicks ass.  I didn't sweat as much, breath harder, and my back wasn't sore.  I sweat so little that I had to piss 3 times during the class.  Normally, I don't piss at all because I'm sweating it all out.  Still drank 1 gatorade and about 3/4 gallon water.  I tweeked my back in the gym a few days prior and didn't want to aggravate the injury.  Especially since I'm going Taiwan soon.

2) Related to #1 above, my mag pouches are on my plate carrier.  So reloading from prone takes extra movements.  But because I had the mag carrier on my waist, it was easier to stay low to the ground.  I may use at least 1 AR mag carrier on the belt for future classes, for prone type reloading.

3) Figured out my POA/POI at 20 yards.  I know my hold over for 5 yards and a few classes ago shot at 20 and was to low still.  I didn't hold high enough.  I have corrected that since.

4) Learned where to place my cheek on the butt stock for prone shooting.  And it does affect accuracy.  I place more of my jaw then jam down with pressure.  Compared to resting the stock on the cheek direct.  Grouping difference at 20 yards was dollar coin, compared to orange.

5) Shot from prone support side.  All jam up.  Apparently, my safety selector moves locations when activating with support hand.  Will practice more support side shooting at next HDF open shoot.
