Whats your all time favorite caliber?

Whether favorite to shoot or hunt or collect or whatever.

Mine is 22lr. I love that little caliber.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

7.62x39 is my favorite, .45 acp is a very close second

If I had to choose just one:  22 LR.   If I base it on the guns I own, then hands down it's .45 ACP.

22lr is cheap, 9mm is affordable, best bang for the buck is 12ga. I have a pistol grip right now and a box of bird shot, my hand is done. Some clay pigeons, maybe some two liter bottles of water...Im good to go.

I've been stocking up on 5.56, but I shoot best with the 22LR. =)

I like 16", throwing bug sized rounds for miles.  Kinda expensive to shoot though.  :(

Gonna have to go with the 30 mm GAU-8/A Avenger.  Anything that can eat a tank in under a second is hard to beat!

.223 as it is fun to shoot and relatively inexpensive compared with larger calibers.
