Many many locals are very conservative in their values.  Problem is they DON'T VOTE...

Plantation mentality,  don't rock the boat,  mind your own business,  etc.

Then all we have left is a few of us that do vote, and the rest is mainland leftist transplants that know better than you what is right...  that amounts to less than 1/4th of this State's population telling you how to live your life....  sad.  This is why unless people wake up, this state will continue down the shithole.

Seeing reactions on social media such as Stolen Stuff Hawaii gives me a tiny tiny bit of hope, however, people have a notoriously short attention span and election during election season, with the help of Hawaii's propaganda news machine, the politicians stay quiet, pass out freebies, etc....it's hard to say if anything will ever change for the better.

We need more vocal people on ssh,kitv,etc...see only the same people commenting logical shit. We are outnumbered by emotional, factless posters.

But on a plus side, i have noticed more logic being posted compared to a year ago. FB censoring being reduced allowing all comments?

The fight for 2a rights isnt only with our senators during bills time. But all year spread on many venues.

I've been banned from KHON FB page for posting gun facts.  Each particular page has control of its own comment section. FB can filter content posted on its Main feed

Another fun fact about FB. when someone like a post or comment, that post will move back up to the top of that feed where your common idea friends may come across it, and they too may comment.

That is why sometimes they keep posting the same story over and over again.  Sometimes one side may be on top of the comment section over another.


They've tried deleting posts before, but that is too obviously bias, and quickly noticed.


Now they been doing repeat posts to try to control the narrative.

This also helps in their ad function. The more traffic they get, the better for them. In the big picture, they really don't give a rip about the subject, or the news of the matter, it's all about the traffic ...
