Modern firearms to take back into time

What would you take and what time period?
I always dreamed of taking a 1911 to the OK corral. Or an AR to the Civil War.

Not trying to toot a horn or anything but I think I could speak for some vets that war sucks ass and is bunch of political BS (at least the one I campaigned in). That being said I understand that this is a game so I will entertain.

I would take anything semiauto that will shoot an 5.56 M855 back into the medieval days lmao. That is definitely cheating but I would have the best chance to save friends and family on a battlefield. That would probably but a huge target over my head but eh. Best forged armor for the time, not a problem.

Take a javelin and reck tigers and panzers in wwII with a single shot. Watch all GIs jaws drop.

Then use said javelin while hitler giving a speech from a mile away. Watch that damn thing go straight up then down.

During the Revolutionary War, the standard battlefield tactic was long lines of soldiers with muskets standing in open fields.
Each side would lob round balls from their smoothbore muskets at the opposing line.
I suppose an M134 Mini-gun would have ended the entire war in a few seconds.

You guys want to work too hard.  I'll go back with a mask, suit, and truck with bio/chem agents.  Stay upwind of the battlefield and drop it before the civil war battle starts.

So you’d kill both sides of those who fought in the civil war?

Give me a 7.62 NATO machine gun mounted on a MRAP and I will still take care of business for the army that hires me.
