Can someone confirm that HPD is changing service pistol ammo to Federal ?
If so, I need the stock number and/or a few sample rounds to dissect for my next project.

I spoke to a friend at the Waipahu academy about this but he has not heard about it.
He did say he just got his allocation of speer GD last month though.

According to the pdf that zip provided, federal ammo is already approved for use.
I was trying to focus on the specific federal tactical bonded flavor.
Federal makes a LE 9mm tactical bonded  ammo in 124 gr and 135 gr.
I was thinking that HPD wanted to change to the 135gr. Flavor.

I've been doing HPD simulation ammo for about 25 years.
It's useful if you want to use the HPD issue ammo for a home defense gun.
It lets you practice and vet your home defense firearm without spending a small fortune.

Makes sense. I always figured that if I buy the same bullets they use then  in theory I should know them to be an effective bullet. Thats actually why I buy Gold Dot for anything defensive.
