Must be Fake News -- LA Mansion Raided -- 1000+ Illegal Guns (Read 2559 times)

No way a gun-restricted utopia like California could overlook such a large-scale illegal gun operation like this. Has to be "fake news".

I have a guess as to how the man afforded his mansion.

More Than 1,000 Guns Seized at a Holmby Hills Mansion
A 56-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested on suspicion of possessing, selling and manufacturing assault weapons

Quote
Scores of weapons — rifles and pistols — were laid out in the driveway of a home located in Holmby Hills, one of the
toniest neighborhoods in Los Angeles in an area known as the "platinum triangle."

An LAPD spokesman said the firearms, taken from a home near Beverly and Sunset Boulevards following a tip, were
recovered during a joint LAPD-ATF investigation into firearms trafficking. Girard Damien Saenz, 56, of Los Angeles,
was arrested on suspicion of possessing, selling and manufacturing assault weapons, according to the LAPD.

"This stemmed from an investigation of an individual who was selling illegal firearms and manufacturing illegal firearms,"
said LAPD Lt. Chris Ramirez.

One article stated that the recent average sales price for the neighborhood was $17 million.

That's even more than Honolulu, isn't it?

I could only spot 2 AR's in the long gun pic, one of them is pink.  most of the long guns seem to be Fudd guns, wooden stocks, etc.  and obviously the guy had a thing for revolvers.  so I guess they couldn't use the words "Assault Weapon" in the headline.  did they call it an arsenal, i mean, did he have more than 1,000 rounds.

I'd guess he was cranking out some 80% stuff:  "manufacturing firearms".  I guess they won't show the assault drill press, and the assault DeWalt router.
