What's the least you've paid for a firearm?

Not necessarily the best deal you've ever gotten, not the first or last free gun somebody gave you, but what was the least you have ever paid for a gun?  Was it working?

20 years ago (!) I bought a Mossberg 500 12 gauge at a gun shop for $25.  It was a hunting gun with a 30" full choke barrel, but the trigger guard was cracked (plastic).  The gun shop refused to consign it or buy it because it was "broken" so the owner offered it to me for $25.  I sent the trigger group back to Mossberg and they replaced it, in the meanwhile I took a tubing cutter, drill press and tap and die set to the barrel and now it's my HD shotgun.  I still have it.

Paid $48 for my 1982 (Manufactured date) Marlin/Glenfield Model 60 in 1986 or 88. I bought it brand new from a store going out of business. I believe it was 40% their regular price. Still have it.

Free.  Have a few that were gifts.  Short of that, I have a couple of guns that I got as a reward for doing yardwork.  In terms of actual cash, I had a single shot H&R pardner I paid $45 for about 5 years ago in a pawn shop.  Ended up donating that one to the Boy Scouts (there are, actually, only so many single-shot shotguns a guy needs).
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

The least I paid for a firearm was 399 bukerunies for a Norinco plain-jane 1911.

It's the single shot not the pump. This was about ten years ago when you could get discounts on firearms and it was on clearance.

Used Taurus .357 mag. It was a long time ago and I think I paid $150 for it.

I got some good use out of it for a couple years but then the action started locking up on something. At the time I didn't know enough to fix and when the soon-to-be-ex-wife asked for it as part of the no contest divorce I was all "sure, you take it (...bitch)." I did tell her it tended to jam every few shots, though.

I also gave her my Mossy 500. That I regret. Cheap enough to buy another, but that's the kind of old friend I should have kept around.
