Cable News is crashing

Heard a related factoid this week: people now spend more time on their smartphones than they spend watching TV.

According to the stats in this video, while FOX and MSNBC are seeing a similar loss of viewership percentages, CNN is tanking.  Seems like the more they tank, the more they go off the radical deep end to lure their viewers back.

FOX has been leading in the ratings for years, so if they lose the same percentage as MSNBC over a 12 month stretch, they are still out in front.  Easier to stay #1 than try to play catch-up.

Still waiting for CNN and MSNBC (and the New York Times) to apologize for pushing the Russia Collusion hoax for 3 years.  I'm not holding my breath.

I canceled my cable TV service the day after Obama won reelection.  I knew then that CNN was making money off the cable providers (customers) in addition to whatever advertiser dollars their ratings might garner.

Beck is right about cutting the cable.  Not only is it overpriced, but they support networks I can't stand.  I'd rather go with Sling or just subscribe directly to a few networks, so I know where my money is going.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
