Everything seems to be exaggerated, blown completely out of proportion, and completely out of context.  So probably what happened is someone said "I don't like David Hogg" and it became Attempt #2-#7.

Martin Luther King was assassinated.
David Hogg was bullied PERIOD. If he had been threatened there shouldve been a police report.

I'm willing to bet that the force would be a better anti 2a argument, because a bullet won't stop a Jedi or dark side practicer.  Because if you really had that many assassination attempts, you should be carrying the thing you're fighting against.
