Area 51 Storm the gate
« on: July 11, 2019, 09:56:02 AM »
Morons planning an event to storm the gate at Area 51.  Their rational is "they can't stop us all Naruto style".

Pretty sure this is a satire event, but you never know what idiots will attend and try.  IIRC, signs do say "use of deadly force authorized".  I guess it will thin the gene pool.

We should start another FB event  "Watch morons try and storm the Area 51 boundary.  We will cross the line on the warning sign".

We can bring beach chairs, beer, poke.

Unless the event was planned by security there?  They needed more ammo, guns, and particle cannons. So now they can order more and claim it's cause of the event.

My understanding is that area 51 has been abandoned in favor of another more more remote area to the north.

It is nothing that 1 or 2 AC-130s or Apaches cannot handle.

When I was in the USAF
I was required to "qualify"
as a Security policeman, even
though my specialty was avionics repair
# 32871.
Naturally,  right at the end of Vietnam
there was no training, I passed,
due to my upbringing and somewhat
being  ambidextrous.  It is a tough qualification.
These people trying to "storm a base"
don't even have a clue, what they are dealing with.
American military for the most part is very motivated,
well trained, and excepting queers and perverts.
very capable.
BTW I took an oath that did not have a
end date as my enlistment contract did.
You non vets should keep that in mind.

Most of the vids I've seen of people getting stopped near boundaries (not gates) were buy guys in non-standard military uniforms.  So maybe they use contractors at the OP and actual military personnel at the gates?

There are layers of security.  While a rent-a-cop may be posted at the main gate, there are security personnel wearing military uniforms on patrol, monitoring surveillance systems, and performing other security tasks.

Trust me when I say, you aren't seeing all the measures employed at a given entrance.  That's by design.

Right after 9-11, PACFLT HQ stationed anti-aircraft guns on their buildings.  They were all but invisible until after you entered the main gate -- assuming you made it past the concrete & water-filled barriers.
