Recycling brass

Recycled a 5 gallon bucket of brass today at Reynolds Recycling.  Got $55.70.  It's been a few years since I did this, they didn't have the higher paying shell casings the last time.

Damn. I thought pricing was a lot lower than that. I have given away a few till 5 gal buckets. But they were reloading for SSF, so sort of my donation.

Nope.  They're relatively clean.  Shot them at indoor ranges and Koko Head bullseye.  I pick them up by hand so they stay kinda clean.  Clean enough for them to take it.

every time I post brass for sale or trade, it sits there for weeks with no response, so I gave up and just recycled them
i'll try to post for sale again when I get a bunch
its mostly 223 since I don't reload that caliber

because people here are more passionate about liberal ideals...and could could give a sh!t about something like...reloading...
.
.
.
and because the brass has been resized several times and necks are cracked.
But if anyone reloads .22LR let me know! :geekdanc: :shaka:

I recycle the cmmon stuff mostly 9mm and 40SW and damaged brass.  Those don't sell or it's not worth the effort over recycling for scrap.  I give 5.56 to my friend ot reuse.  I kept my 38spl, 30carbine, 30-06 to possibly sell later.

My favorite is steel, Berdan primed
7.62 X 39.  Very hard to reload.
22 cal may be much easier to reload.
Any suggestions from the gallery?

Will they take the spent primers?  Those are brass correct?
