I find myself wondering whether we want a more extreme one to win so we all see their crazy ideas and then learn our lesson or whether we want a moderate one who is going to lead more closely to our (conservatives/republicans) political desires

TBH, I think that what people say during elections is diff from what they will actually do.  Barry never took our guns.  But just their thought process is the thing that worries me.

Trump said the assault on the 2a is over, but supported the bump stock ban.

Trump has done FAR more than barry has to the 2nd ammendment. He even banned accessories as in bump stocks. Im dissapointed in trump to say the least & im not the only 1.

If the NRA had their shit together 3 years ago, I have a feeling it would have at least had a vote.  NRA donated a lot of money to Trump and paid for ads against Hildabeast.  That should have at least gotten CCW Reciprocity on the agenda.

It's obvious most political issues are never intentionally solved (Trump's successes being the exceptions).  The politicians run on the same issues election after election promising fixes if they can just get all 3 branches.  Obama had all 3 branches for 2 years, and now Trump for 2 years.  All Obama gave us was ACA and massive debt.  At least Trump is trying to keep his campaign promises in spite of Congress.

Seems like Congress puts more effort into promising than fulfillment.

Don't listen to what they say.  Look at what they do.  I wish all voters would learn that.  We'd be a lot better off.
