I was surprised where stood on a lot of the issues they covered. He isn't going to make any friends here with his gun views but most of the interview was on other topics and he was quite articulate and reasonable. Downright agreed with him on more than I would have thought.

Some excerpts from him:

He is taking notes from Trumps transition from a wealthy East Coat liberal and friend of the Clintons to whatever he is pretending to be now in order to exploit populist rage for his own benefit. Conservative is back in fashion now that the Control Left has descended into identity politics hell.

One of the things I particularly respected was his position on Brexit. Even though he thought Britain should stay in the EU he stated that the will of the people through the democratic process must be respected as even though he thought his view was the smarter one, he doesn't get to impose his will on everyone else.

He is a media creature, you know, a whore.  Give him a change of breeze and he will do a 180°.

I sort of give him a break on his views of the 2a.  He grew up in  a country that has a different value on guns.  Also he has money so he isn't in the poor areas or "no-go" zones. So he's relatively safe.

There are others from the UK that take advantage of their new freedoms and are very pro 2a.  And they're commoners, not rich like Morgan.

On a side note, Sweeden who has strict gun laws has had 120 bombing this year.

That's exactly why he shouldn't be given a "break". He presents the same lying statistics and argues that no one should have guns... the very people that need them the most are the people unlike him who live in more dangerous circumstances. He wants to deny those people the right to meaningful self-defense, something that he himself, because of his white privilege, will likely never have to exercise. He's a bloviating gas bag.

Case in point, North Koreans are taught that North Korea was the first country to the moon and they have a museum with a fake space shuttle. When one of them escapes they are confronted with a world of information that is different than what they grew up "knowing" to be true. You don't treat someone like that as stupid or dishonest because they don't immediately believe you or change their mind on a dime.

You don't change people's minds by attacking them and berating them.

I was looking into it, I guess it doesn't make a lot of news because the death toll is surprisingly low? I have to admit though that I could stand to increase my consumption of international news.
