You missed "pointed gun at police." The ultimate bad choice.

I can't say I understand her pain, but I understand she has pain. The media should stop covering such stories. They're just enabling her along with prolonging her misery.

man fuck that bitch.  I'm willing to be she hasn't seen her son in years and all of a sudden the fucker gets shot like the dog he is and suddenly she's on tv all teary eyed.  I bet her goal is to somehow get monitary compensation from the city and county.

I see the officers justisficaton. Airsoft or not. Rules are you pointed it at an officer he is going to take you out to prevent injury to himself or others. Airsoft gun did not have a orange tip. Also a sawed off shotgun?  It didnt look that way in pictures. But oh well.

...........but blood sells man.  This is how the media makes their readership/viewership grow.  More people watch/read, the more you can demand for advertising.  Advertising means money.  Yeah I know I'm a cynical guy.

Airsoft or not IMHO it doesn't matter.  The officer is making a split second decision and I'm willing to bet he did not yell to the guy "Hey point a gun at me!"  Another thing to think about the orange tips is, it really doesn't matter if they are painted or not.  If I'm a criminal and I'm already willing to kill/hurt someone, then I'd just paint the tip of my real gun orange.

BTW the mom's deal with shooting out the tires............really?  Shooting the tires is going to prevent someone shooting at a LEO?  I feel for her, but damn she just needs to accept that her son made a lot of really poor decisions in life.

It looked like a pellet gun.

The shotgun as well looked to be of legal length.

Typical media stupidity, calling it a "sawed off shotgun"

Regardless of what they were, you don't point firearms or pellet guns or airsoft guns at police officers.

If that's what happened, the officer is 100% justified in his actions.

Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

But that's the truth. The news is actually rather depressing with the flood of reports on crime, violence, financial crisis, Kim Kardashian, etc.

I always thought those things were pretty funny.  In all reality no one really gives a shit that the person died unless they knew them.  And if they did they wouldn't need to see that shit on a window to know the details.

I've heard of guys who shoot piggies with high velocity pellet guns and kill them.

I thought I was the only person that thinks those "In Memory" of whole window decals were tacky.  That's what a cemetery is for.  I'd rather rest in a nice plot of lush land than on the side of a road or remembered everywhere my friends and relatives drive their car.
I think those people who have those whole window stickers bought the vehicle with the deceased insurance money or inheritance....

We build .25" airguns that shoot ball bearings at 1200 fps and kills wild boar.  So even pellet guns can be harmful.
