The like-to-dislike ratio is amazing :)

For context, I think Legend is a year behind the ball...

I'll stick with the original.  On the flipside, this was a buddies Wedding song.

If you listen to the lyrics it's about a guy with stalking tendencies...

This one is funny.

I had a one night date with a woman, after we were done I couldn’t get rid of her. She wanted to spend the night and was making plans for us for the next day. She ended up spending the night, which apparently made things even worse as she started talking about what we were going to do the following weekend. When I finally was able to take her back to her house so she could get a change of clothes so she could spend the next night, I left. I didn’t answer my phone for weeks in fear it was her. She stalked me for 2 or 3 weeks before she wrote me a really nasty breakup letter. Yes, I said a breakup letter. Lolo to the max.

This ^^^ is why "players" never giver their real name and splurge for a hotel room .... so the other party doesn't know where they live.  They also have a burner phone -- a number they can hand out, then throw away the phone when the number has been "compromised".

Never been a “player”. At least not that I know of. This woman and I had mutual friends so she knew my real name. She was a single mother, drugs and alcohol were involved and she was adamant about not wanting to get involved with anyone. Which is why I thought she just wanted a one night thing. Maybe something changed after how wild it got that night, I don’t know? Maybe she was just fucking crazy? Who knows what goes on inside women’s minds?

BTW, this was before cell phones.

So, you willingly gave out a number she could not immediately verify?  There should be classes on "How to Avoid a Fatal Attraction."   :shake:

I spent a weekend with a gal in NC. She was in the middle of a divorce (married to a buddy of mine from high school).  We rendezvoused a few months later in Vegas for what was expected to be nearly a week.  Just before the trip, she started referring to me as "her soulmate."

I left her alone at the hotel the first 2 days while I attended Front Sight, and then I barely had any time to spend with her in the evening. I was getting up at 4am to get ready and drive an hour, then returning to the hotel about 7pm very tired.  Standing almost all day in the sun takes its toll.

On the second day, she made up a story about her dad being sick and left. Then she ghosted me.

WHEW!!!  That was close!  (as in Glenn Close)    So much for "soul mates!"

The day before she arrived, I won $1,800 in the casino.  The day after she left, I won another $2,800.  My room and meals at the hotel were comped (had to buy lunch at FS).  I used frequent flyer miles for my ticket.  FS cost me $250 to attend plus $200 for a case of 9mm ammo.

All in all, a very productive and fun vacation.  These long distance romances never last -- thankfully!!    :geekdanc:

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.
