But will they get out and vote?
I've had conversations with many people my age(millennial) and younger who lean conservative who have zero desire to vote. Even with our 100% mail in ballots(which I do not agree with) many poeple won't take time to make their voices be heard, they have much more important things to do like flipping through instagram or watching YouTube videos.

I read somewhere, and I am going by memory here, that the millennials, Gen X’ers and Gen Y’ers are the progressive generations and will tend to vote Democrat. And that the newest generation, Gen Z is much more conservative and tending towards Independent/republican. Of course getting someone to vote that is estranged from society will be tough. This is all generally speaking of course.

Unfortunately, I feel that the Trump effect will be limited to his 2 terms only. At first I thought Pence would be the logical next step as a conservative candidate. And it may turn out that way. He will find it difficult to make his presidential run. But the Dems have little on him and will have to resort to making shit up about him. Unless we can get out the vote I figure a Dem is probably more likely our next prez in 2024. I just don’t see Pence as the next logical step after Trump. I see him as more of the establishment which has been part of the problem since Reagan. Pence is a bit too milk toast for me. He doesn’t seem like the fighter Trump is.

But I have been following Trump Jr. on Twitter and this guy is pretty sharp and quick witted with an interesting personality. He has the same fighting spirit as his dad and is not afraid to go on progressive radio/TV. Look for him to possibly make a run at being the next prez in 2024. If he runs and gets the nom then we may have a chance to really bring some sanity back to our government.

Jr. Is also a gun guy(way more than his father), he could get the ball rolling on big 2A issues but not much will happen with the same ole establishment elite are in the house and senate. I'm hopeful that some 2A friendly judges will help stop this trend of federal courts legislating from the bench... we'll see

Having Jr. in office wouldn’t be the first family dynasty to dominate the presidency. Not that I am for or against a family dynasty. But the first Bush was not one I voted for. When the second Bush ran I thought it would same old same old. And it was. In my opinion neither Bush was very good. But better than Clinton. Seems to me that since Reagan all of my choices were to vote against the popular candidate instead of voting for the candidate with the best policies. Most of the presidential elections since Reagan were popularity votes, not voting for issues. If you look at the losing candidates of the last 8 presidential elections (not including 2016) you will see very weak candidates with little to no personality. I think Trumps election was due to popularity and to his policies including being a disruptor. Because agree or not Hilary was a strong personality whack job. She won the majority along with a million or more of dead voters. If Trump had not won the nomination, Hilary is president. All of this is just my opinion of course.
