I was telling my coworker last night that we could get copycat incidents as the publicity creeps into the psyche of mentally unstable people.

 Coworker has a couple vests but I felt it would be unnecessary in our particular case.

In 2018, a lot of podcasts/YouTube news sites I listened to took a no-name policy, I.e. not naming the shooter during coverage  because the infamy is exactly what they want. KSSK took a similar stance not soon thereafter.

Now I hear the Pearl Harbor shooter’s name on every other kssk report. Now this event?

The problems with fast access storage solutions are (1) you would need to leave the firearm there all the time, since carrying it to/from the car & office comes with its own set of risks, (2) you never can predict where you'll be when SHTF -- possibly nowhere near the firearm, and (3) if someone reports you, you'll be fired, possibly arrested, if firearms are prohibited there.

I'm reminded of the psychiatrist who ignored the rules and kept a pistol in his briefcase.  He wound up shooting a patient after the patient shot and killed his social worker.  It's likely he saved more lives by prioritizing his safety over company policy.

Most military's don't treat you too well if you fail.

The shooter probably decided if he had to lose
he'd take some Kafirs with him.

Your example is if SHTF, but what would be more common is someone finds out and you get fired and even arrested like you're option 3.  So gotta do the math of odds about needing the gun or getting fired and losing your freedom, possessions (unable to pay bills cause no job).  Or if you work in a super cool place, then everyone do the same that way no one rats on anyone.

I was sitting on the toilet twice last year when the power went out.  Didn't have my phone because it was charging at my desk.  After the 2nd outage, I bought  a flashlight Streamlight Protac IL-1AA.  Power went out a 3rd time, but I was washing my hands, but still inside the restroom.  So I'm guessing I will be on the toilet if SHTF in my office.  Prior to last year, the power never went out in 8 years.  This is also 1 of the reaons why I added a light on my carry pistol. I asked my friend who works at the hotel we stay at in Vegas how often the power goes out.  He says a few times a year.

why would you send someone that was going to wash out to train at one of the premier air bases of your biggest ally?
I understand that even in the Saudi air force there are elites/royals that are probably given preferential treatment, but you wouldn't send a scrub to practice with the A-Team even if they were previeged

Sadly most UPT students from that particular country are part of, or in someway related to the royal family and don't wash out. Instead they get recycled (often, in some cases) until they're "good to go". The stories I've heard from several IPs are pretty crazy.

They already have someone making the comment on the news that we need to review why 2A, a right that's afforded to American citizens, is being applied to foreign nationals on US soil, too.
