The report was out. The initial reason for investigation was found unbiased and justified but they abused the FISA warrant process. So it wasn't a fake scheme to investigate Trump but they did carry it out in an unjust way in terms of seeking the FISA warrants.
Wrong.
Point #1: The IG did not say the investigation was unbiased. He said he found no evidence, in documentation or testimony, that the actions of those committing the abuses did so due to political bias.
Ask yourself, what could their motives be then? I have a list to choose from:
1. Obama told them to crush Trump's campaign because the email scandal made Hillary's chances of winning slimmer than he liked;
2. They are all at risk for criminal or administrative action because of their non-investigation that summarily exonerated Hildabeast after spending 30 minutes outlining all the security regulations, policies and federal laws she violated. They fully expected Clinton to win, which would have provided a safe haven for the swamp critters for all past and future crimes; or
3. They are so incompetent that they were duped by Steele.
Point #2: Once the Carter Page FISA warrant was started, why was Trump not informed? The FBI informed Feinstein when they suspected her driver of 20 years was a Communist Chinese Spy. When the DNC server was hacked, the FBI informed them. It is protocol to notify the TARGET of any foreign intelligence activity so they can be alert and cognizant of anything they can pass to the FBI and aid the investigation. Why treat Trump as a suspect instead of a victim? Hmmmm....
Point #3: The SCOPE of the IG investigation was limited to the DOJ and FBI. He might not have found "evidence of bias" from in-house interviews, because he's basically interviewing the suspects. Of course they won't be honest if it's bad for them.
Durham is going much further. He's not constrained to only in-house resources. He and Barr have been traveling to Australia, Belgium, Ukraine, and other relevant locales to get to the bottom of the abuses from outside sources that were directly involved.
The FBI knew the sub-source that fed Steele most of the rumors and hearsay BS he used didn't think that info would ever be used for anything official. The sub-source disavowed all of the information as completely unreliable. That was Jan 2017, yet the FBI continued using the dossier to support their warrant renewals.
Why? Where they convinced Trump was a Putin agent? Were they convinced he helped Russia interfere in the election since he WON? Were they really that stupid?
