Dropped my dad off at the starting line at 430am. Tried to go home to ward area and all roads are closed. Hpd didnt know how to get to my condo. Nor would they let me "sorry, gotta turn around". Following orders.

So got breakfast and saw another neighbor in the same situation. Now its 615am and called marathon hotline. Said that area should be open around 7.

Total bullshit. At least let residents in. Telling my dad to uber next year.

Last year i went and traffic was fine at 1pm ish. All the stragglers walking or limping down kalanianaole. Only 1 lane heading toward KHSC closed.
