Iran launched 'more than a dozen' missiles at bases in Iraq housing US troops (Read 8363 times)

Something else I found interesting is that 4 out of the 15 missiles that were launched, failed one way or another. That’s like a 25% failure rate.

BTW, the stock market tanked in the pre-market and is now flat right before the president is to speak. The markets see this as a nothingburger so far..
That's actually pretty good (if true).  I read/heard that those missile that did reach their assumed intended target were actually pretty precise.

The failure rate and accuracy of the missiles and targeting systems are of constant scrutiny and forecasting (i.e. guessing).  It's interesting how the "experts" come up with those figures.   ???

We once infected the Iranian centrifuges being used in their nuclear weapons program with a virus that spun them out of control until they broke.

I don't think it's too farfetched that someone could have done something similar to a few guidance systems -- especially if they came from suppliers we'd have access to.  Maybe someone in Syria or Turkey?

Not far fetched at all.

Cybersecurity is a big issue and can def see systems that “we’d have access to” as vulnerabilities.

A few more interesting notes being left out of the MSM. The day before the 'retaliation' a dozen or so Iranian Generals were arrested, apparently the Iranian government was worried they would start a coup when missile were fired on US forces in Iraq.

Also after the FAA declared airspace over Iran, Iraq and Syria a No-Go zone that night, an Ukrainian owned commercial passenger jet tried to take of form Tehran. Shortly after if left the tarmac it caught fire and everyone onboard was killed. Turns out someone in Iran goofed and smoked 180+ Iranian nationals some with Canadian citizenship.

According to the U.S. official U.S. intelligence is confident that Iran painted the Ukrainian airliner with radar and fired two surface to air missiles that brought down the aircraft.

The crash occurred about three hours after Iran fired multiple missiles into Iraq, targeting U.S. military sites in what appeared to be retaliation for the recent American drone strike that killed one of Iran's top generals.

Which entity uses Canadian citizenship as cover?  How come no outrage from Canda?  #Tinfoil

Iran has admitted it accidentally shot down the passenger jet.

We (the US) experienced a similar situation when the Iraqi jet fired a missile and hit the USS Stark in the Persian Gulf.

The Iraqi gov't denied responsibility, saying the pilot was firing at an Iranian oil tanker.

Once we confronted them with the evidence from our Saudi-based AWACS, they were shocked.  They knew where our AWACS were on station, but they have no idea the range or amount of data they had.

Extremely few people, myself included, know the full capability of the US military.  I am sure they got stuff that would shock the hell out of other countries intelligence forces.

Here's a fun fact, part of Obama's Iran deal besides unfreezing their assets from banks and delivering pallets of US currency , he gave out US citizenship to 2500 high level Iranians. One of them in fact is the daughter of Soleimani the big General we just drone whispered. And she is now in the US calling for the death of Americans to avenge her father. Nice job Barry.

Which is why I laugh at politicians  who did the "Monday-Morning-Quarterback" routine after POTUS pushed the button on Suleimani.
Does anybody really believe the POTUS would launch a strike without a lot of advice from his top advisors?

What should be more shocking is how much of it is being used against US citizens inside our borders instead of against foreign adversaries. Comey said he was signing 100 FISA warrants a week, thats why he didnt even blink when he signed 4 vs. people in the Trump campaign. He also only spent 1 hr going over the details before putting pen to paper per 100 requests.
