tested the 22 and 223 at kokohead yesterday
both did well, although was windy, around 15-25 mph winds with gusts higher than that.
i'm not the greatest shooter, but not bad for a cheap bolt action and cheap optic on the 223 on a windy day.   :shaka:

I like it better than the factory stock.  I like the pistol grip on the pro varmint, and the fore grip is wider which I like too and the built in cheek rest, feels more comfortable or natural shooting.  the hunter stock on the 22LR feels not much different than the factory one, maybe a little wider overall slightly, but I like the wood much better than the plastic.
I got the 223 to be a practice gun, and just bc it was cheap and shoot cheap 223 ammo with it, and bolt action is easy to clean.  I thought of it as something not so special, kind of a beater gun. but now I like it much better, the wood just looks so much better to me. not a beater gun anymore

Still trying to figure out what it likes to eat, but this is a 15 shot group measured from the outside (subtract .264).

been wanting to change out the bolt knob on my 308 Ruger American Predator
for the American, you also need to change out the bolt handle bc the stock one is 1 piece.  while i'm at it i got a titanium bolt sleeve to replace the factory plastic bolt sleeve.
everything should get here this week hopefully and can swap things out on the weekend     :shaka:

finally got everything together.  from Anarchy Outdoors.  stainless bolt handle, titanium bolt shroud, and dragon scale bold knob.
install was a little tricky bc the firing pin removal tool fell out when the spring was on tension and the firing pin out.  so i just had to use a punch pin to tension the spring by hand then stick a screwdriver in there to hold it.  took a while to do it bc it wasn't easy.  many four letter words were said.   :grrr:
it actually would have been easier using the screwdriver from the get go
anyways heres a before and after pic of the bolt and the rifle   :shaka:
