PSA not shipping standard AR mags
« on: January 29, 2020, 07:25:38 AM »
I ordered a few 20 round mags.  just got an email saying they don't ship mags to Hawaii larger than 10 rounds.  I replied that the law only applies to handgun mags, but if that's their policy then I'll take the refund.  shame on PSA.  but they've shipped before from PSA, I guess not anymore

but I also ordered a couple standard mags in FDE from MidwayUSA and they shipped

Brownells also ships here.
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

Yup, it’s been a while. I think closer to 2 years. Last time I ordered from them was around 2016, maybe into 2017. Not much after that, they stopped.  :(

There are other opportunity to buy STANDARD capacity magazines for rifles.

MidwayUSA also sells standard capacity rifle magazines to Hawaii. Just picked up some additional Mini-14 magazines from them since Ruger no longer ships them to HI.

DIdn't the AG send letters to many of these companies saying standard AR mags are illegal?

Yup, a number of previous "go-to" online vendors have either stopped selling/shipping standard cap mags to HI.  At least one has closed down, or at least stopped distributing and website seems shuttered.   :(

If they don't ship here, move on to the next vendor.

Just be aware there is a high probability the rifle magazine ban will pass without grandfathering this year.  If that does happen then we may ask for $15,000 in donations to file an injunction.  Save your money for that.

AR15Discounts.com put my order in hold because I bought 3 lancer mags from them, I emailed them about their policy, and they followed up and called an FFL here and then shipped to me!

Also fast shipping because they are in Bakersfield, CA.

Ordered Pmags and GI mags from gunmagwarehouse and they shipped here.

Since they are listed as "Rifle" magazines on their site.

Been trying to order in case the legislature has any ideas and picks on us instead of solving real problems in our state.

Go to the range with a hat. Tell everyone there who owns a gun to donate $20, or more if they can. 100 people in 1 saturday is $2000. Wear g-string if need.

Tell  the pistol only guys, once 10rd rifle mags pass, they will follow NY and do a 7rd max load next. Then 5 rd. Then 3.

Same experience here.  I usually get my mags from brownells.  I still order other items from PSA, especially their free shipping items.

I asked them and they said YES!

right now they have the best deals,  just as good if not better than gunmagwarehouse, AND THEY SHIP TO HAWAII.  check em out, they got pmags, windowed pmags, lancer, metal, hexmags, and amend2 mags.  you can get a 10 pack for around $100 shipped,  best deal with shipping  to Hawaii that I have ever seen other than gunmagwarehouse...

anyone want to go halfsies on a 10 pack of windowed pmags or see-thru lancer mags,  gonna be ~$150+shipping  since windowed and lancer mags are more expensive , around $15/each

Just have them ship to a relative and have the relative forward it to you.
You can also establish a mainland mailbox with companies that forward stuff
My uncle had a Miami address but lived in Costa Rica.
I'm sure he violated lots of Costa Rica laws,
but when you live in a Banana republic you do what you do
to get by.
BTW Uncle has been dead for 5 years now so not I'm getting
anybody in trouble here.
