It took me a bit to try and figure out what you mean

So there is the Senate COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY, INTERGOVERNMENTAL, AND MILITARY AFFAIRS meeting on Thursday at 1:15pm Confrence room 229, state capitol
Which we were asked to submit testimony here https://hifico.org/PSM0206/

Now there is also the House COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY, VETERANS, & MILITARY AFFAIRS and COMMITTEE ON JUDICIARY on the SAME DAY at 2:15pm Confrence room 325, state capitol
Which we can now submit testimony here https://hifico.org/pj0206/

If we can make it which one should be the priority?

so much for "government by the people, for the people".

yes, a concept that is lost on our esteemed legislators.

Sneaky Mf'ers,  Let's show them we aren't going to take this lying down. Take a long lunch, call in sick  do whatever you have to do and make it to these hearings. We need to be sitting front and center "a single unified force of well informed polite law abiding PISSED OFF constituents."  Showing up to the rally is great and I'm thankful and proud of everybody who came, but NOW is when it really counts(the boring pain in the ass stuff) time for us to make our voices heard. We can't let MDA outnumber us, Let's show those seasonal resident commie cat ladies whatsup!

from an ethics standpoint, there's just so many things wrong with how they're trying to bamboozle us.  it is just so piss-poor bad, disappointing.  but did I expect more from our elected representatives?  I guess not.  crooks, con-artists.

Will the testimony from the hearings need to be resubmitted for the joint meeting?

one submission for the joint meeting
the issue with the joint meetings is that we can only comment once on the bill, instead of individiually

This was a joint effort by Rep Takayama and Rep Lee to rush this legislation through, probably due to the officer shootings last month.  Most of these bills have nothing to do with it but they want to media to show they're doing something about crime.

It's unusual to see joint committees for all the firearms bills and it just makes it easier and faster to pass.  The deadline for them to hear the bill is February 28th and firearms bills are normally heard towards the end.

Just trying to ram it through.
