probably old news, but my question is:  is FN taking over the whole military M4 contract?
is so what is the future of Colt?

I believe that if FN were producing M4s for the whole Army the contract would be more. My guess. ???

If it's $750 per rifle, then it's for 158,666 rifles.  Wonder why they're not all m4a1.

I was under the impression that FN has been producing Infantry Rifles for the US for a while, learn something everyday.

Guess it's no coincidence Colt shut down Civilian AR sales.

The article mentioned a "101 point inspection".  I think that's more than my car goes through when servicing.   :P
