GD.

Their handbook is online and it tells you everything from duty ammo (9mm, 38, 223, etc...) to what guns are allowed by make and model.  So basically a cop, even UC is not authorized to  carry a 357 revolver.  It list what SSD is allowed to use as well, which is different from uniform officers.

Go to the end for specs.
It’s interesting reading in some parts though.

They can't handle a 357. Too scary :D

I heard, at least on big island, they will be accepting other AR's other than Colt. I don't think they decided which brands yet

In normal times, I found Young Guns was well-stocked with defensive ammo.

Good luck!   :shaka:

Bushmaster or RRA will prob be the runners up to replace colts.

Due to the fact they both have a reputable history with government contracts.

Bushmaster is in a huge lawsuit cause the sandy hook shooter killed his mom and stole her bushmaster AR. He then used that and some other guns at hook. Why isnt glock in the lawsuit?

Lawsuit is claiming bushmaster marketed the gun toward killers or something. Even though the shooter stole the rifle.

Bushmastermaster also used in D.C. Sniper shootings

Isn’t Bushmaster gone ?

They should go with BCM.
