I'm impressed. His is bigger.
Most of  mine is 7.62.
Not 5.56.
A 7.62 will take out an engine block.
go through two doors and people in a car.
But the man can really impress a few cops
trying to take his guns away, because they are just "doing their jobs"

If I lived on the mainland and had had my own range of access to a more “free” range, I’d like to have similar  ;D

If I owned a stockpile of ammunition, I would not advertise to the world.
Having said that, if I lived in a rural area, I'd probably have just as much stuff piled up as that guy.

I shot my 44Mag 6.5 inch barrel, 240 gr bullet at the back of a junked '58 Ford about the year 1973, so it was not a rust bucket.  From about 50 ft away, it went thru the trunk lid, both seat backs and thru the dashboard.  I just love seeing these cop shows where they hide behind a open car door and take out a guy with a rifle on a roof top with their handgun.

I used my 44mag with 240 gr FMJ full power load to attempt to crack an engine block out Kaena Point side back in the 80's.
It failed miserably.

I would not expect any pistol round to go thru an engine block. My 7MM Rem Mag with factory 150 gr bullet did not go thru a telephone pole from 50 ft.

If it is an AL block you will damage it.
That is all you need to to do.
Patience.

Nice gun.
Useless for telephone poles.
Good for SWAT teams.

Being that he lives in California, I can see why he accumulated that much.  He trains extensively too.

For us in Hawaii, it might be something to contemplate, especially if you train extensively like he does.
Some people are happy with a box of 20 rounds secured in the house with the gun.  Others feel 1000 rounds minimum per gun is necessary.  And even some others feel that is not enough.

To each their own.  Everyone is different.  And to be able to decide what is right for you is what 2a is all about.

Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

If you know how much ammo you have
you don't have enough.
I have no idea.
I'm making black powder for my 3 inch cannon.
I have several cannons.
I want to scare my animals this July 4th.

I do warn my neighbors.

Don't know if that's a valid rule-of-thumb.

Joe Biden doesn't have a clue how many shotguns he has, much less ammo.  Someone like him would be buying ammo every other day on his way past the gun shop.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
