Police Brutality During Covid-19
« on: April 16, 2020, 01:17:17 PM »
Unnecessary roughness on a child just trying to sell some candy and chips on the subway to earn some money.

It is sad that it has come to this.

Funny we never see video of BEFORE the Cops are involved, like maybe how the kid was fighting to get away or pushing an old lady down to try and run.

I was unaware that "selling candy to passengers" was on the NYC list of essential services/activities.

Follow the rules, or accept the consequences.  His "mother" wasn't anywhere in the video as far as I could tell.   :wtf:  Bad parenting?

NYC is the EPICENTER of the US outbreak.  Lots of people are dying.

REQUESTING people follow the rules works for the majority.  The minority who ignore the rules put the entire city at risk.

Maybe you're okay with a kid going from car to car spreading whatever virus or other germs he's picked up along the way.

I can't imagine you would sink to a new low in your defense of the police officers that do the bidding of the anti-2nd Amendment government in NY, in roughing up and arresting a young boy trying to sell candy and chips to earn some money, in the worst economic downturn the US is undergoing since the Great Depression.

As always, you present valid peripheral facts to illustrate your point.  Yes, everyone has to wear masks, social distancing, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...  However, as central to all your arguments, your conclusions are always the same; the government, military, and police are always right in whatever they do and everyone must support and obey.

The police may be upholding the city ordinances in this case, but are wrong in roughing up the child in the video.

Very simple.
Democrat run city.
Democrat run state.
Mom probably had her kid doing the
illegal sales activity,  he won't get a record and
she can just pick him up and take
him home no jail time.
Kid had nice shoes.
Cops were doing what cops do.
they were in a hostile environment
and they want to get home safe.
NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES.

I was arrested when I was twelve.
I was hungry and got caught stealing food
not candy, but beef jerky, on a day, I ditched school.
Cop was going to just take us home,
L.A. County Sheriff cop,
but my buddy mouthed off, that was bad.
We went to jail.
No charges were ever filed.
My father beat me shitless after he picked
me up at the jail. I was on Parental "probation"
for the next 9 months.
I beat my "buddy" up later after one school
day when I chased him down and caught him.
I didn't have much to do with him after that.
Kids and cops don't mix well and it is never a good
thing for either of them.
Don't talk to cops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought they were "fluid gender"
so they don't count as sons?

So, your sole justification for a kid (being supervised by his mother?) breaking the rules meant to keep everyone safe from a deadly disease is "He was just trying to make a few bucks?"

Gotcha!

Show me  the video that was taken BEFORE the Cops were able to detain the poor little victim.

That video rarely makes it into the public eye, so the narrative is ALWAYS "poor little criminal".

0:38 seconds into the video, the "little darling" is using his fists to assault the officer.

I guess as long as you hate Cops and were only selling candy, assaulting a police officer while being detained is a "right"?.

"Show me  the video that was taken BEFORE the Cops were able to detain the poor little victim."

Sorry, I don't have nor know if such footage exists.

"0:38 seconds into the video, the "little darling" is using his fists to assault the officer."

Right; that child that looks like he is just entering puberty is assaulting an officer...

Let me guess, based on your interpretation of the events, the police should have used their firearms on that child as well...

What an utterly disgusting fascist goonery view of events.

"I guess as long as you hate Cops and were only selling candy, assaulting a police officer while being detained is a "right"?"

Nice try.  Your attempt to reframe the argument and insert me as the person getting roughed up by the police in this incident is not going to work.

My God, deflecting the brutality of the police officer by focusing on the actions of an underaged, sacred, and terrified minor?  HPD should hire you as their PR speaker.  Because of your unwavering support of police, you would definitely serve them well in convincing the public of why civilians should only have access to 10Rd or less magazines.

If that was your son, would you be saying the same thing after watching what happened?

What was the alleged infraction again?  Oh yes, selling candy and chips to make a little money and get roughed up by police.

A simple warning would have not sufficed?  I guess not; book him!

I used to think you merely had an overactive imagination.

Now I see you have a mental defect that prevents you from maintaining a firm grasp on reality.

I never said that, but you don't want to let that stop you from giving your judgmental opinion on it anyway.

And you have the audacity to accuse ME of reframing the narrative?
