What do you get when you cross an AK with an HK? Per usual most of the IP is stolen but then again it could be a push in the right direction as far as improving reliability. That trigger reset looks super long on the part where they are in semi auto mode, but the FA mode looks super fun.

I’m becoming clinically undepressed and thinking about beginning it all.

It's a good thing they added subtitles to the video.
I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

Yeah, I have no sound, those subtitles saved it for me.

Nice video.
It reminded me how much of my Mandarin I have forgotten.
I took two years of Mandarin Chinese when I was a kid.
We had a pretty progressive Public school system, before
the Democrats took the state over.
I was taught Spanish, and Mandarin.
I got a slam course in German in University.
one course taught by an East german army defector, who decided the class
should be held in German whenever he felt like it.
I earned an A in that class.  Thankfully he either didn't
know or ignored Spanish curse words.
Chinese do make good guns.
but they stole all the designs.

Totally agree.

The Chinese do make some the finest AK-47s and AKMs outside Russia.

Don't forget SKS type 56 carbine.
If you get one with a Milled trigger group,
not stamped, you have a very accurate
and robust rifle.
Comes with a built in "Mono Pod".
and cleaning kit.

My apologies.

How could I forget the Type 56s?  Those quality carbines are just as legendary as well.

If I am not mistaken, the SKS Type 56 carbines are still used in China's military parades by their honor guard.

Just doubled checked.  It seems that both the SKS Type 56 and the AK are used by China's honor guard

The color guard uses AKs, while the rank and file uses the SKS with bayonets.

I want an SKS, but not paying the prices they go at now since it would be a plinker gun. Missed the boat on good prices for them.

It is interesting that the honor guard uses the Russian bayonet rather than
the Chinese "Mono Pod one".

Since you did time in Seattle you'll appreciate this.
One Christmas time I went to Butch's Gun shop
on Aurora Ave N.
( now closed, but may have re-opened) and bought
most the gun guys in my family an SKS.
I had earned a bonus that year.
and I was debt free, owned my house, cars, boat, Yada yada.
Seattle style.
Your HPD would soil themselves. all guns on the mainland and none registered.
I think the ATF has me down for four or five.
They were under $100 each and I could pick through them
to select the best. All cleaned ones(used) were headspaced good
Some had never been issued, I had to walk my Dad through
cleaning a gun coated in Cosmoline.  Although I'm not a Marine
I used gasoline, like they did.

Excellent Deer hunting rifle.
Much better than a 30-30 model 94.
Plus at that price you can scratch it up and don't worry about it.

You would know better than me, but does the Russian bayonets give the SKS a better aesthetic appeal?
