Remember:  Former VP and Senator Joe Biden was up against a field of 26 other Democrats for this nomination.  He's the best of the best -- cream of the crop -- champion among champions.  This is the most capable man the Democrats could find from a field of 27 people to run against an incumbent president with a YUUUUUGE list of accomplishments -- not the least of which is getting his job done amidst constant attacks and distractions on a daily basis.

This is NOT another Trump bashing thread.  It'll hopefully become a running collection point for Biden's gaffs and stumbles going forward.  I started this because I KNOW FOR A FACT the MSM will avoid and spin the things Biden tries to say.  This might be the only place forum members have a chance to see the truth about Biden's fitness to be President.

Here's my thoughts:

I'm most concerned about who is selected as Biden's VP, because I'm convinced that, if he is elected, the Democratic Party will either:

1) Do an overt "about face," claim that Biden lacks mental capacity, and have the VP assume office;

Or,

2) Keep Biden in office, surreptitiously have him relinquish control to the VP and serve as a "figure head" only.

In either scenario, he will most certainly be used as a scapegoat, and be used to solidify the VP's future nomination and election.

He will truly embody the definition of a Useful Idiot.

Again, just my thoughts.

Keepin in mind this is a state that elects dead people eg.

Nobody can blame Trump for the current economic problems, since he didn't cause the China Virus pandemic.

Having said that, there are anti-Trumpers who will vote for the devil to get Trump out of office out of pure hatred ginned up by the DNC, the media and the deep state.

Trump and Biden both have records of what they can do for the economy, and in that comparison, Trump wins hands down IMO.

The Dems have squandered over a year of having power in the House going after Trump and doing absolutely nothing for the good of the American people.  They have taken obstruction to a whole new level, going as far as impeachment with no crimes committed in their articles.  Shameful display of partisan insanity in a presidential election year.

Yeah, Trump may be an impeached President, but he will also be the first President ever to be reelected after being impeached.   

Biden already promised to pick a woman for his running mate.  If that goes as smoothly as the Iowa and Nevada primaries did (do we even have a vote count yet?), it'll be another DNC disaster.

Thanks Hound, things are going better. Still not as well as I would like. My stuff arrives Thursday and I pick my truck up on Friday. That will go a long way towards getting back to normal for me.

The idea behind behind my asking you the same questions you asked someone else is to point out that we all do and say these things all the time that we don’t want to do or feel necessary to say. For instance, Trump lies. A lot. We all know that. We know that the MSM is lying about his lies and unless you make an effort to try and find the truth for every sentence he says, you will never know how much of the “Documented” lies are in fact not lies by Trump but by the MSM. We also know that every politician from the time of Washington has lied. Nothing new here. If you used that as a basis to not vote for someone there would be no one to vote for. Ever. So the fact that he lies and you still make a conscious effort to vote for him shows that it is not that big of a deal. Hilary might have been worse, but that means lying is not so much a big deal as having blood on her hands. Yeah, it’s not great. I agree. But you are the one to admitting to letting the liar get into office. Lies or not. The other thing I want to point out is the comment about grabbing them by the pussy. We all know he said it. No one but Trump knows if it is true or not. And based on how much you claim he lies, how do you know that his statement was not a lie also? Could have been just as much bragging as anything else. He boasts and brags a lot. That is who he is. Trying to make himself out to be a bigger better man than he truly is. I do not know any guy who has not exaggerated about his prowess with women one way or another. I suspect back in your youth you probably did the same. Don’t take this the wrong way. I am not defending Trump here. This is a problem that he has and he brings on himself. Actions speak louder than words IMHO. If there was any evidence that he actually did just grab ‘em by the pussy he would not have become president. He would have had to bow out before the vote. No question in my mind. Is he even going to make it to the nominations? Shouldn’t he be seen, even from his home, all day, every day? If I were a candidate I would be putting out video footage constantly all day every day. At this point I’m not sure he is going to make it.

I think the real problem will be the debates.

The Biden campaign had already implemented a "Where's Biden?" strategy to reduce the sheer volume of gaffs his opponents can use against him.

The lockdown simply played into that strategy perfectly from a public appearance viewpoint.  Unfortunately, with everyone else taking advantage of social media and broadcast media from their homes, it highlights the obvious lack of public presence in Biden's case.  Not having to travel with Secret Service and an entourage of staffers should mean he's able to redirect those resources to make, as you said, daily appearances.

With the ability to script, record, edit and do retakes, one would think Biden would do more prepared talks on issues and fewer live interviews.  He doesn't do well live -- at all.

She's told several people over the years, and she has detailed memories of when and where Biden assaulted her.

Ford not only couldn't get the basic facts straight, but everyone she said could back her story up did the exact opposite -- saying the party she recalled never happened.  Even Kavanaugh's calendar from way back then showed he was scheduled to be somewhere else.

The media is ignoring corroborating evidence now just like they ignored exonerating evidence then.

Makes me wish that our free press could understand that such rights and powers demand personal and professional integrity.
