EEF posted this link in another thread. It's supposed to be Joe Biden's accomplishments -- a man who spent almost half a century in government, 8 of those as VP.

"Result". When you list accomplishments, they usually include the results of the person's actions. Even if the word is not used, there are other words, like directly, responsible, produced, ... Nada!!
For example, "EEF selflessly volunteered to become the Membership Drive director for 2020. His use of social media and newsletters were directly responsible for doubling the membership roles of the group in just 12 months."
As opposed to, "EEF became the Membership Drive director in January 2020. He created events and groups on Facebook and spent hours on Twitter. He also posted event photos on Instagram."
The few things that were significant, like "oversaw the confirmation of Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the second woman in the history of the Supreme Court in 1993" was his JOB!! She wasn't about to be rejected. Ginsburg was confirmed by the Senate in a 96 to 3 vote. Wow, Joe! Such an accomplishment!!
The whole list reads like this. He was never the idea man -- never the risk taker. He was given committee positions as time went on based on seniority, and that required more time leading the committees and not just following the party. Again, he was just doing his job.
There's a reason few sitting Senators have ever been elected as President. Being in that body in no way teaches you how to be a Chief Executive.
The three sitting senators who were elected to the White House were Republican Warren G. Harding of Ohio in 1920, Democrat John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts in 1960, and Barack Obama of Illinois in 2008. Senators John McCain and John Kerry were nominated by their parties, but neither won.
There were 16 presidents in total who were Senators at some point in their careers, but none with senate careers that could be called noteworthy.
Historically, the US Senate has not produced the best candidates for President. More Governors have won the Presidency, because running a state provides close to the same experience needed to run the country, with obvious exceptions like National Security and Foreign Affairs. Since the President works closely with all governors, it's beneficial if he knows that job. Trump has business and CEO experience. I've seen a few examples of him needing time to get caught up on the particulars of certain parts of the job, but overall, he impresses me as being much more capable than Sleepy "Turn in your Assault Rifles" Joe.
