Canada active shooter
« on: April 19, 2020, 02:20:09 PM »
10 dead so far
Maybe fires
Shooter on the loose for 12 hours

Wonder what more gun control they will push. Probably trumps fault and the NRA.

It has to be Trump's fault.  Why wasn't he there to stop it?

"He was arrested by the RCMP in a gas station in Enfield, Nova Scotia, northwest of downtown Halifax. Police later announced that he had died."

He was a dentist, too.

Well, more specifically a "denturist" -- he made dentures.

Dang.  Had a car that looked like LEO, dressed like LEO.  Set fire to structures.

He must have been planning it for a while.  Must have been really mad or a socio/psycho path.   A decently sane person would have realized they needed to seek help before acting.

How the hell did a crazy Canadian get a hold of firearms? Don't they have to get Trudeau's approval before obtaining a firearm there? I guess they're gonna have to restrict rock n roll and video games because it's obviously desensitizing the citizens to violence.

Dressed up like a cop, and of course the sheep obeyed him, and died.

Many years ago when I lived in WA state, we had no TV reception or cable ( just like here on the BI).
I had a C band satellite dish( 10 feet across and moved to lock on different satellites)
I could only get "Feeds" from multiple satellites. One of the reliable
ones, time wise was the CBC and the National. Both Canadian.  Virtually every shooting in America
was reported as be an "Assualt weapon".
Even if the guy used a revolver.
Canadian media is even more screwed up than Russian media.

If you think most rural Canadians pay any attention to Canadian guns laws you are
sadly mistaken.

He did not have a firearms licence [sic], and RCMP Chief Superintendent Chris Leather
said the police will investigate how he obtained his weapons.
