So been banned for the past 6 days now on FB because I don't have my real name.  I'm gonna assume someone reported me because I post comments on other pages like KHON, CNN, MSNBC, SHH, SSH-OT, etc...and they're pro rights or pro Trump.  So FB asked to send copy of my drivers license to verify.  I only sent them the part that shows my name and pic.  I covered all other info.  They said that they would review it and get back to me. 

Maybe due to CV, it's taking longer than normal, but I can't even find an email to contact them.  On their help page it just has questions and automated stuff.  No direct contact to follow up on my status.

When you sign up for a Facebook account they should ask for you drivers license, birth certificate, DNA swab, fingerprint card, retina scan and social security card.
That would take care of your annoying problem.

FB is a double-edged sword for people like you ....

On the one hand, you know FB is one of the riskiest social media sites you could ever participate in when it comes to your privacy.

On the other hand, you need to monitor the state of current conspiracy theories being published and shared by FB members.

But on a serious note, you're correct.  Even with IG.  I get lots of info from pages.  Then look more into what the info was saying to confirm or to debunk what was being said.  I don't go on Tinfoil forums. Guarantee big brother is watching those.

Example: Why CV is hitting NY so hard? Compare similar densely packed population to Japan.  Japan has 126 million people, NY has about 8 million. Japan has 350 deaths and NY has 10,000+.  I had to go to the WHO and CDC websites to check it out and the numbers speak for themselves.

I was thinking about this also, but I don't think Japan would lie as bad as China would.  It would be a dishonor if anyone found out.  Maybe slightly for the cases, but not the deaths.

Not sure if lying, filtering, selective reporting, etc.  I'll just say that from friends that live there (both gaijin and "native") with doubts on the data as well as disconnects observed.  Particularly from DoD folks.  Experienced this somewhat when I was trying to decide on whether or not to cancel a work trip there that would've end March to early April.  Was back in early March when trying to decide.  Would get feedback of numbers from GOJ being reported going down, after peak, all good, etc.  Then later all of a sudden increasing restrictions,  state of emergency, etc with data reported trending positive.  Slow release of info or seemingly vague release of info.  Not a big deal for me as I was pretty sure my trip would be cancelled, but made me go :hmm:
