I thought this was a post about the 2nd wave of Covid-19 after all the states open up for business and ignore the safety precautions...…. ;)

But this is an interesting subject.  I tried to find information as to how these insects entered Washington State but couldn't find any info.  Anyone know how they got there?

Just curious since Hawaii is in-between Japan and the West Coast, assuming those pests came from Japan.
