COVID19 is sexist

https://www.kitv.com/story/42111068/hawaii-offers-countrys-first-feminist-policy-plan-for-postcovid19-economic-recovery

According to the commission, “COVID-19 exposes the crisis of silence about the oppression of women in the United States. Women’s lives are riddled with violence and we struggle with a lack of economic independence—this was not considered in the pandemic response. Women advocates need to be officially included at the table to build an economy recovery that supports women and is capable of delivering gender equality.”

And what genius input would they have that would fix it all?

Actually read this garbage and found...
To include :
Enhance state revenues by taking advantage of the Federal Reserve $500 billion lending program to state and local governments.(because we need more debt)
twenty percent of Public Land Trust revenues are to be provided to Native Hawaiians. ( because we know how the overpaid OHA board members are so good with money)  >:D
commitment to the Native Hawaiian community should include a twenty percent pro rata share of the COVID-19-response funds in trust for their express recovery needs (see above)
Special funds and infrastructure for high risk groups including:•Undocumented immigrant women because they are ineligible for the one-time federal cash payment (because . . . their undocumented immigrants ?)
Reorient our economies away from the military, tourism and invest in green-technologies ( because the state doesn't need 1/3 of our income from military or the alleged 1/5 income from tourism ( I call shennanigan's on that 1/5 percentage :grrr:))
Avoid government employee furloughs (because 25% of Hawaiis employees are government and they do their work so well)  :D
•Release all pretrial women detainees in jails and WCCC (because we should believe them ?)  :-\
Raising the minimum wage to what experts consider a living wagein Hawai'i for single mothers: $24.80/hour. ( but not everybody)
femme-identified and non-binary people, (and this is where they lost me on the whole "feminine" thing  :wtf:

I have a daughter, a SIL and a grandson.
God kids and lots of other extended family
Aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces,  cousins and such.

This girl is an Idiot.
I'm certain my family extended family
has a better grasp
on reality than most Democrats
like Greta.

She has mental defects, no insult intended -- just the truth.

It's sad that her parents (Leftist whack jobs) not only filled her head with all this nonsense, but then allowed the worldwide whack jobs to take advantage of her.

I don't blame Greta nearly as much as I blame the parents.

I blame anyone who gives Greta and those like her any sense of being anything besides whiners without any grasp of the realities of life.  It's easy to think one has all the answers having been afforded all of the comforts life has to offer.  Get exposed to the realities of life and then see.  It's easy to say what one thinks should be done without having to put the time and effort into actually working to get things done.  Nothing but a spoiled brat.

Dude, you gotta give her more credit than that.  She's an accomplished COVID-19 expert.

Found it. I knew people thought she had a disorder but hadn't come across any official diagnosis.

What was she diagnosed with?

Quote
Mental health

Thunberg says she first heard about climate change in 2011, when she was eight years old, and could not understand why so little was being
done about it.[18] The situation made her depressed. She stopped talking and eating, and lost ten kilograms (22 lb) in two months.[19] Eventually,
she was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), and selective mutism.[18] In one of her first speeches
demanding climate action, Thunberg described the selective mutism aspect of her condition as meaning she "only speaks when necessary".[18]

Greta struggled with depression for three or four years before she began her school strike.[20] When she started
protesting, her parents did not support her activism. Her father said he does not like her missing school but said: "[We] respect that she wants to make
a stand. She can either sit at home and be really unhappy, or protest, and be happy".[21] Her Asperger diagnosis was made public nationwide in
Sweden by her mother in May 2015, in order to help other families in a similar situation.[22] While acknowledging that her diagnosis "has limited me
before", Thunberg does not view her Asperger's as an illness, and has instead called it her "superpower".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greta_Thunberg

Super power?  Many with autism are savants -- no different than "normal" savants.  They have a special gift (like Rain Man) be it math, musical instruments, etc.

So far, Greta hasn't demonstrated she's a savant in anything other than exploitation of political and environmental issues for personal gain.   :wtf:
