Hpd permit question (Read 2268 times)

Hpd permit question

For 1 pistol and 3 rifles, I do 3 appts right?

I have made appts for:
Friday 7/10/2020 - apply for a longgun and pistol permits
Friday 7/24/2020 - “apply for permit” (to p/u permits)
Monday 7/27/2020 - to register pistol and rifles

They should have “pick up permit” as one of the selections

Last time I went (two weeks ago), they said no need appointment for pick-up as long as within the 7 day period to which pick ups are good for.

No need appt for permit pickup. Just went a couple days ago, and verified with 2 different officers. Who knows if they’ll change their minds though

I’ll keep the appointment to pick up the permit for now.  Can cancel later if they tell me no need.

When did that change? Last time I acquired pistols, needing an appointment for pickup was the silliest thing. Now no need? Smh...

Not sure when exactly. I picked up two permits in the last 4 weeks without appt for pickup, just the initial to acquire.

I contact HPD firearms dept you don’t need  appointment to pick up permit.  Just go down during your pick up period
