Floridians are often special cases that do not represent the wider population very well. The Sunshine State seems to attract and breed them in higher concentrations for some reason.
If you allow government to break the law for an "emergency" they will create "emergencies" to break the law.

My point was to provide an example that offsets the "broad brush" characterization that there are many people targeting Asians. Just like there were probably a small percentage of Chinese snatching up PPE and happy to deprive Americans, there is a small percentage of non-Asians (San Francisco teens were mentioned) who are acting out as well.

Is there an increase?  I don't know.  Show me the actual stats.  Until then, it's another story crying "victim!" based solely on race, but without actual evidence that it's any more or less than before the pandemic.

Looks like you missed my attempt at humor, but saying we live in a world where there are NO victims is just as ridiculous as the people who claim everyone is a victim. Of course more Asians were attacked, some very brutally. One chick got acid thrown in her face. Humans are just a few chromosomes away from chimpanzees, and it is in our DNA to attack others outside our group especially when we see them as an immediate threat. Not everyone is a unique specimen of mentally balanced moral authority like yourself.

I never said there are no victims.  Far from it.  I said there's no evidence there are any more attacks now than before the pandemic.  Psychopaths and sociopaths use whatever excuse is handy to explain/excuse their crazy/violent acts.  I have no moral authority over anyone other than myself.
