At this point I am increasingly inclined to believe that the DLIR has been given a mandate to turn down the benefits spigot and purge as many people from the system as possible so that more of the federal bailout money can be illegally redirected into slush funds. If the HGEA is complicit that means a public union is screwing over all the people in the state who are in dire need right now in order to cover the pensions and benefits of its own members down the road. The temporary call center employees are sympathetic but useless, while my ongoing experience with DLIR employees has been very negative and I am not surprised to hear that Scott Murakami has been receiving death threats and asked for police escorts.

Someone needs to do an investigation into DLIR internal communications and figure out what the holdup is. They keep using the same excuses but it does not make sense any more now that the new servers are up and running.
